Meeting this amazing group of volunteer ladies, devoted to helping their community, is among the best things that happened to me in Canada. They offered me the opportunity to help them achieve our 2019/2020 goals while enjoying their close friendships. I’m putting my efforts and my experience of 25 years in Information Technology & Project Management at the service of the club members in our quest for social contribution. I strongly believe in team work and in the power of this group.
“Together we can” is at the core of each member's effort. Hand in hand, with the Board, we will work towards achieving this year fund raising goals, and completing more successful milestones in this group's journey.

Meet the President
Accustomed to community and volunteer work, with an established international experience through living and working across four continents (North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa), I have developed respect for others, love for multi-culture, and engagement in charitable activities. I am very excited to have offered the opportunity to drive the Inner Wheel International theme "Empower and Evolve" which emerged this year, in Ottawa. Since having joined the Inner Wheel Club of Ottawa in September 2017, I have been fortunate to experience the reward of being engaged in and giving back to the community along with passionate club members.

Meet the Founder
Inner Wheel has become an important part of my life since I joined the IW Club in Amman-Jordan District 95 (Egypt and Jordan) back in 2004. I held the position of IW club Treasurer for the last 3 years before I moved to Ottawa. When I first arrived there were only 5 IW clubs in Canada District 707 but none in the capital. I took the opportunity with a group of friends to start an IW club in Ottawa, where the charter Ceremony took place on May 3rd, 2014. It is an honour to be part of the International Inner Wheel which is one of the largest women’s service voluntary organizations in the world. I hope to promote Inner Wheel service and objectives while nurturing and encouraging members to take active participation at all levels, and also encourage new members to join us in our mission to give people Happier Futures and Better Lives.
I first joined the Inner wheel Club of Ottawa back in 2014 when I first moved to Canada.Being a part of this club made me feel part of the community; it gave me the opportunity to play an active role in society by helping to better the lives of others. Moreover, it allowed me to meet some amazing and inspirational women who share the same passion and purpose that I do. As a president this year, my mission is to work together with my members to help promote the activities of Inner Wheel Club and garner the attention and support of people in our community.I hope to encourage new members to join our mission and participate in our activities so that together we can help make change in the the world and ensure better lives for those in need.

Being part of one of the largest international women organizations in the world has been indeed a very rewarding experience. It has instituted what the true sense of service and giving back to the community and the world would encompass. I have made friends and experienced the satisfaction of personal service. Inner Wheel continues to be a pivotal aspect of my life. Together we work fervently to leave a lasting legacy!
